Can I use Gmail to access my email?

Setting up the Gmail app to check your email with ILJ Mail:

Open your Gmail app on your device.

  1. Tap the little picture icon of your account in the top right of the app.
  2. Tap "Add Another Account"
  3. Tap "Other (IMAP)"
  4. The next screen will ask for your email address.  Type in your full email address that you subscribed to with us.
  5. Once you have it fill out, tap Next in the upper right.
  6. It will then take you to a "Incoming Server Settings" Page
  7. You need to make sure you fill it in with your email address and email password. 
  8. "IMAP Server" is email.iljmail.com
  9.  Port is 993
  10. Security type is SSL/TLS
  11. Tap Next
  12. Put in your complete email address and password in the blanks there
  13. The SMTP server is smtp.iljmail.com
  14. Port is 587.
  15. Security Type is STARTTLS
  16. Tap Next and it will check your settings. 

If everything is set up correctly, it will ask you to name your account and you are done!  Then you can tap the little profile icon in the top right to swap between your gmail account and your ILJ mail account.
