First of all, there are many things that can cause emails that you are expecting to go to the spam folder and sometimes it is on the end of the sender. If they haven't taken the precautions necessary to keep from getting into spam blacklists, then they will need to address that. The spam filters are sophisticated enough now that senders need to do a few things on their end to make sure that the recipient email servers know that they are legitimate. If you signed up for a newsletter of some sort, it's possible that the sender falls into that category.
However! Spam filters are not perfect and they can either flag the wrong email for spam if the algorithm thinks it looks "spammy" and they can also put spam in your inbox because the spam didn't hit enough triggers to be put in the junk folder. There are a couple of ways to handle that.
Soon we will have an interface in our webmail where you can tell it what is junk and what is not so it can learn from your input. However, we don't have that available at the moment due to some configurations in our webmail system. Instead:
Contact Us for Help - We are more than willing to help you get your spam filtering level changed (more or less strict) or we can also add some email addresses to your "whitelist" so that they don't filter to the spam folder. Please contact us and we can do that for you.
Click "Contact Us" at the top of the page and let us know what you are having issues with. We can set your spam filters to be more strict if you are getting spam in your inbox or you can tell us the email addresses that you need to whitelist so that the spam filter doesn't mistakenly put them in the junk folder.
